They call me "Crash"
Life certainly does have a way of helping you out.

Um..well, sort of.

I crashed my parents' car. I had had a long day, school at 9:30 in the morning, then an orthodontic appointment, followed by a frantic rush to get to work on time. I got out of work around 11, just managed to get about a mile away from the station and WHAM! CRACK! THUD!

(That's the sound effects of me hitting several trees, a rock, and possibly more than one garden gnome. God Bless your Gnomey soul.)

Basically, I was driving down a very steep hill (since the station is located in the middle of nowhere and therefore must be accessible only through backroads that have not even yellow double lines), going 30 mph, hit an ice patch and made the mistake of slamming on the brakes.

The car is probably totaled. I'm fine, miraculously, since I wasn't even wearing my seatbelt. However, my parents are (rightfully) pissed and have grounded me for the rest of the semester. I can only go to work, school, and other necessary things. No social events, no seeing the boyfriend.

(Side story: Yeah, I got back together with Iron Man because I was missing him so damn much. But hey! It was really good for the week that we were back together!)

So. Now I owe them a shitload of money (if the insurance doesn't pay) and I'm being given a whole lot of verbal shit on top of it.

I really don't blame them, but it doesn't make my life any easier, of course.

And I'm completely ill, on top of this. Coughing, aching, slightly feverish and always tired.

Oh Lordy Lou..I don't know WHAT the fuck I'm doing any more.
